Activity: Incorporated feedback to my Project B.
Notes: I had to change several things. Firstly, I changed the distance of the shooting for some of the enemies, because during the testing it was proved to be the most entertaining for the player. Secondly, I have added health to every enemy, in this way the character is prone to loose health and thus the player is bound to explore the scene looking for the HealthPickups, which is also part of the feedback. Then the speed of the movig platforms has been changed, during the testing I had found out that it is incredibly slow and irritating for the player. Then I have added the music, during the testing some people had said that it would be nice to have it.
Also before the testing I didn't have HealthCanvas reacting to the damage of the charcter (hearts stayed the same and didn't disappeare). That was probably one of the biggest difficulties, bacause I didn't know how to fix it and I didn't find anything in the official tutorial. I spent a lot of time trying to find it in the scripts, turned out it is possible to do it in the inspector. And the seond biggest issue was to make the scene reload. Before the testing, when the character died, she was placed at the start of the scene but the enemies were killed, some walls were destrucred. There I spent a lot of time as well. I tried to find it in the scripts, then wrote my own, attached it to the character's OnDie event, but my script for some reason worked only once. So I kept looking for the one in original scripts and found a script for resetting the level and attached it to the same character's event. Fortunately, it worked.
Invested hours: 2 - 3 days (not the entire day, but the biggest part of it, so I am not sure how many hours).
Outcome: finished level design with incorporated feedback .
